This month's tech corner features everyone's favorite video games. Since the early 1970's, video games have had an immense impact on everyone's lives. Starting with the Atari. As technology evolved so did the graphics and the way video games were made.

Now in the year 2021, consoles like the PS4 and the Xbox One are the newest video game sensations with the PS5 just released this past November. A lot of the time companies try to one up each other by releasing their console the same time another company does.

So how does someone choose one over the other? Many times it has to do with the type of games that are being released, but other times it's what your friends end up getting so that you can join in and play with them. As adults you can research which console will you get the most usage out of time and money. For example, the PS4 has better capture features and supports VR, where  the Xbox One only excels in media features with its Ultra HD Blu-ray support. All in all it comes down to preference and what you like best.

With that being said, if you're looking for some new games to play, stop in at the Library to take a look at all the new video games available to check out. Please keep in mind the game's rating and it is a one week loan. When things return to normal, we'll have in-house video game programs! Until then, keep enjoying them from the comfort of your own home.
