https://1000booksbeforekindergarten.org/

Read a book (any book) to your newborn, infant, and/or toddler. The goal is to have read 1,000 books (yes you can repeat books) before your precious one starts kindergarten.

Does it sound hard? Not really if you think about it. If you read just 1 book a night, you will have read about 365 books in a year. That is 730 books in two years and 1,095 books in three years.

If you consider that most children start kindergarten at around 5 years of age, you have more time than you think (so get started).

This month's Tech Corner features Grammarly, a free online writing assistant that scans your text for grammatical mistakes. The software works with all emails and message platforms, documents and all social media.

Once downloaded onto your web browser, Grammarly will get to work with anything you type so everything will look professional. The software also goes beyond grammar and spelling and will help you eliminate errors so that you can find the perfect words to express yourself.

Grammarly is free to use, but a subscription is also available that provides advanced usage of the software.  Grammarly makes it so much easier to get your point across, and you don't have to worry about having misspelled words.
