On August. 21, 2017, the sun will disappear behind the moon, turning daylight into twilight, causing the temperature to drop rapidly and reveal massive streamers of light streaking through the sky
around the silhouette of the moon.

Solar eclipse viewing for our area is predicted to occur around 2:45 pm. Stop by for some free eclipse viewing glasses! Looking directly at the sun, even when it is partially covered by the moon, can cause serious eye damage or blindness. NEVER look without proper eye protection.
