Happy New Year and welcome to 2017! We have all kinds of exciting events planned for this year,
so make sure to keep an eye out for upcoming announcements. This month we have a 3D Snowflake Contest for all ages and a JCP&L Home Safety Program. Let us know if you have any programs to suggest for 2017!  Hope to see everyone soon. 
3D Snowflake Contest
 Jan 2-Feb 28

Create a snowflake using a 3D pen, or 3D printer. Categories Ages 5-10 & 11-17. Judges will decide which 3D Printer and 3D Pen snowflake is the best and the most creative will win a prize. Snowflakes will be exhibited in our Showcase in March!
Participate in South Amboy's Art Through Technology Contest! Using the library's 3D printer or 3D pens, community members of all ages may enter the art competition anytime from January through June 15.  Entries must be entered within one of the following categories: the waterfront, pets and a floral theme.  

Age categories will range from children through seniors.  Entries will be exhibited at the South Amboy Exhibition Hall on Broadway during July and August.  The community will have the opportunity to vote
for the winners.

Come join us for the first ever Dowdell Library Soup Contest!
